The Position
The main focus of this role is to lead creative direction through research, storyboards, conversion rate optimization, and testing for paid social and other digital ad placements. In this role, you’ll be a part of a fast-growing team and help scale some of the most promising direct-to-consumer brands. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of performance marketing for direct-to-consumer brands, how to structure a customer journey from awareness to purchase, and is looking to own responsibility for creative performance across clients that range from early-stage startups to growing brands.

You will be expected to manage needs internally while providing insight and roadmaps for clients on where and how to scale through creative. You will use your experience to make decisions and make choices of risks worth testing in order to drive growth. You will be in charge of driving constant team and client communication to make sure that the account has a sense of urgency to find creative winners and scale budgets whenever possible.
Required Skills
- At least 5 years of experience in ecommerce marketing
- An expert understanding of Facebook ad creative and a proven record of ideation and execution of creative testing
- Experience working with design teams from brief through creative execution
- Data oriented thinking to understand how certain metrics impact performance and how to act upon data when things are and are not working
- Attention to detail to provide thorough briefs and rigid approval process before client reviews
- Deep understanding of a customer sales journey and how it relates to storytelling
- Expert copywriting skills to deepen brand stories and creatives
- Experience with tools such as Facebook Ads, Shopify, Google Analytics Suite, Figma, Motion, and Slack/Asana/Notion
- Client facing experience is an added bonus
Responsibilities
- Lead research and data mining to understand value propositions, customer feedback, and market opportunities.
- Ideate hypotheses and manage testing roadmaps to lead a structured creative testing process
- Gathering inspiration and develop ad ideas
- Create informed briefs for the internal design team to execute on performance driven creative for paid social advertising
- Build shot lists and decks for UGC content shoots
- Lead copy across paid ads for in ad and headline copy
- Build landing pages to improve conversion rates
- Tracking performance metrics and key KPIs of each creative to understand what is working, improve, and report back to internal and external parties
- Team training and SOP development
- Development of company projects and assets
